Shoaib Ibrahim, best known for shows like Sasural Simar Ka and Ajooni, has been winning hearts with his dance journey on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, as he went on to become runner-up of the celebrity dance reality show. Unfortunately, in the finale episode, he ended up losing the trophy to social media influencer and reality show star Manisha Rani, of Bigg Boss OTT fame. Opening up about losing the same, the actor only had best wishes for his colleague whereas his wife, co-actress and former Jhalak contestant Dipika Kakar confessed that he might have felt a little bad about losing it.
Shoaib Ibrahim, who is also popular for his vlogs, took to the platform to talk about the finale episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, wherein he shared his best wishes to the winner Manisha Rani and added, “Many congratulations to Manisha and to all her fans. And I will say only this, that haar jeet hai, hoti rehti hai (there will also be victory and failure).” He also expressed his gratitude towards the Almighty for helping him become the runners-up of the reality show as he went on to share, “I have come this far in the competition and I am very thankful to Allah for that. I have put in a lot of hard work. All of you have put in a lot of hard work by voting for me. God has fulfilled my wish as I wanted to stand in the finale. I was standing in the top 5. I was in the top 3."
However, during the same, his wife Dipika Kakar interrupted and added, “Bura toh lagta hai (you do feel bad)” and she went on to explain how he received a lot of love from the audience and judges who appreciated not only his dance but also his hard work and dedication. She also recalled a comment made by one of the judges, choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan wherein the latter said that ‘she will remember this because of Shoaib’ which Dipika felt was one of the best comments Shoaib received during his journey.
On the other hand, the Sasural Simar Ka actor concluded the journey on his show as he added, “This journey will be remembered for the rest of my life. It was a beautiful journey. The journey from episode 16 to 30 was great. The journey from the first episode to the finale was great."
Shoaib Ibrahim performed on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 along with Anuradha Iyengar as his choreographer and dance partner.
