Shilpa Shetty gives fans a sneak peek into the birthday party of Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra’s daughter Adira : Bollywood News

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra, who are keen on keeping their daughter away from the media glare, ensure that her photos are not posted online. However, that hasn’t stopped the power couple from celebrating big moments with their fraternity friends. Recently as their daughter Adira turned eight on December 9, Rani Mukerji hosted a beautiful party which was attended by many biggies from the industry including new mother Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, among others. Actress Shilpa Shetty, who attended the bash with her daughter Samisha, took to social media to share glimpses of the same.

While abiding by Rani Mukerji’s thoughts on keeping Adira away from social media and media glare, Shilpa Shetty decided to refrain from sharing photos with the birthday girl. However, the actress did post several moments from the bash which gave us an entry into the Christmas themed party. From her younger daughter Samaira posing with elf, Olaf, and other fun characters in the bash, to her posing with choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant, as well as the host of the evening, Rani Mukerji, Shilpa posted many pics from the celebrations.

Talking about Rani Mukerji and Adira, the actress had recently revealed on Koffee With Karan 8 that she likes to keep her away from the media glare because she doesn’t want her daughter to feel privileged. "We have a different idea of how we want to raise Adira," the Mardaani actress had explained. "We don't want her to feel privileged or special in school. And that would happen only if she would not be photographed," she had added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rani Mukerji recently featured in Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway which is inspired by real life events. Whereas, Shilpa Shetty played the titular role of Sukhee which is a fun drama based on woman’s journey of self-discovery. The actress is also expected to feature in the web show Indian Police, directed by Rohit Shetty, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi.
