Talented and versatile actress Priyanka Chopra has established herself in both Bollywood and Hollywood. She is not hesitant to speak her thoughts and utilise her position to spread awareness and encourage change, which is one of the things. She spoke about confronting criticism in the Hindi film industry when people stopped putting her in the movies, pushing her to eventually move to the West, during a recent appearance on Dax Shepherd's podcast Armchair Expert. After actress Kangana Ranaut, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and composer-singer Amaal Mallik, Shekhar Suman, Indian actor, anchor, and television personality has also come forward to speak on the matter.
Shekhar Suman has finally come to the forefront due to Priyanka Chopra's shocking comments about Bollywood to share his experience and convey his agony. In a recent statement, Shekhar Suman described how certain individuals in Bollywood grouped together against him and his son Adhyayan Suman to have them removed from various projects. Shekhar wrote in a tweet, “I know of atleast 4ppl in the industry who have ganged up to have me n adhyayan removed from many projects. i know it for sure. These ‘gangsters’ have a lot of clout and they are more dangerous than a rattle snake. But the truth is they can create hurdles but they cannot stop us.”

For the unversed, speaking about her journey from Bollywood to Hollywood, PeeCee said, “I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break. This music thing gave me an opportunity to go into another part of the world, not crave the movies I didn’t want to get but I would require to schmooze certain clubs and cliques of people. It would require grovelling and I had worked a long time by then so I didn’t feel like I wanted to do it,” on the podcast.
While Vivek Agnihotri called Priyanka a “real-life” star, Kangana accused Dharma Productions’ head Karan Johar of ganging up against Chopra and ensuring that she doesn’t get projects.
Shekhar Suman is also known for his work as a television host and reality show judge. He hosted the popular talk show Movers & Shakers and was a judge on reality shows such as The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
