Bollywood actors Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan broke the internet after their photos from the Christmas celebration went viral. Their photos left fans excited for their upcoming film Shehzada.

While the film is scheduled to release next year, the lead actors dropped birthday wishes for the film’s director Rohit Dhawan. As December 27 marked his 39th birthday, Kriti and Kartik took to their respective social media handles and shared a birthday note for him.

The Heropanti actress shared a BTS photo from the sets of Shehzada, featuring herself with the birthday boy. She also placed a crown emoji on Dhawan’s head in the photo. Captioning her Instagram story, Kriti wrote, “Happiest Birthday to one of the coolest & most good-looking director! The captain of our ship! Our Shehzada! #RohitDhawan Wish you a spectacular year ahead!”

Meanwhile, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor shared a post and wrote, “Happy Birthday to my big bro / Wishing us a ‘Larger Than Life’ 2023 / Love you lots #RohitDhawan,” in the caption.

Talking about the upcoming Rohit Dhawan directorial, besides Kartik and Kriti, it also features Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles. The makers have already released a 59-second-long teaser, which introduced Kartik as Bantu, thrashing a number of people in an extravagant fashion.

Coming back to the professional front, the 32-year-old actor was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which went on to become one of the highest-grossing films of 2022. He has an interesting line-up for the coming year. Besides Shehzada, he has multiple projects in his kitty including Satyaprem Ki Katha.
