Shehzada actor Kartik Aaryan sings ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ on the stage of Indian Idol 13 13 : Bollywood News

On February 4, Sony Entertainment Television's ongoing singing reality show, Indian Idol Season 13 will be celebrating the 'Girls vs Boys' special episode. Along with that, the show will also feature special guests for the evening, which will be none other than the cast of Shehzada, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. One of the performances during the show made the actor reminisce about his 2018 rom-com Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

While the top eight contestants impress the celebrity guests and judges Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya with their talent, contestant Rishi Singh from Ayodhya gives an outstanding performance on the song, 'Tera Yaar Hoon Mein' from the 2018 Kartik Aaryan starrer Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Rishi’s performance touched the actor so much that he gave him a tight hug as he recalled some very special memories attached with this song.

Talking about it, Kartik Aaryan said, "This song and the film was the turning point in my career. The way you sang this song, seriously it made me very emotional. This song is like a friendship anthem for everyone. I feel lucky that I got this song in my career, and it makes me so proud to hear you”. Kartik further went on to reveal how the song was initially not a part of the movie but on Kartik’s request, the director added it in the film.

Later, host Aditya Narayan revealed how Kartik was singing along during Rishi's performance to which the star added, “Sometimes when you hear these contestants singing, you wonder ‘what talent is this!’ I used to wonder sometimes that I too should have become a singer and perform on a stage.”

Soon after the actor confessed his wish, the show helped fulfill his wish to perform onstage. In fact, Aditya invited him to sing ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Mein’ with Rishi.

This episode of Indian Idol 13 is all set to air on this Saturday at 8 pm on Sony TV.
