“Sharad Kelkar added weightage to the Baahubali franchise,” says Har Har Mahadev star Subodh Bhave : Bollywood News

The Hindi dub version of the Prabhas starrer Baahubali franchise managed to break the barrier of language between the north and south audience and turned out to be a successful pan-India film. Post the success of the film, Sharad Kelkar, who gave his voice to the character of Bahubali for Hindi dub, became a household name.

A bunch of celebs lauded Sharad Kelkar for his contribution to the SS Rajamouli directorial. Recently, his Har Har Mahadev co-star Subodh Bhave also spoke about his equation with Sharad while sharing his piece of mind on Sharad’s contribution to the Baahubali franchise.

While talking to Free Press Journal, Subodh asserted, “I shared the screen space with Sharad Kelkar for the very first time. I have seen his earlier work and even liked it. Be it any role, he is extremely passionate about his craft. He has a million-dollar voice; he added weightage to the Baahubali franchise after he dubbed it in Hindi for Prabhas.”

Bhave further added, “He is a very intense actor, it was great working with him. In fact, when anyone works with a talented actor like him, they tend to learn a lot. Seeing your co-actor, you want to do even better. I feel lucky to be a part of Har Har Mahadev alongside Sharad.”

For the unversed, Har Har Mahadev is Marathi cinema's first multi-lingual film. Along with Kelkar and Bhave, the ensemble star cast of the film also features Amruta Khanvilkar, Nitish Chavan, Sayali Sanjeev, and others. The period drama narrates the story of a battle led by Baji Prabhu, where only 300 soldiers fought against 12,000 troops. The film recently started premiering on the OTT platform.
