The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Budweiser India have announced the celebrity participants and music line-up for the second edition of BUDX NBA House in India. The two-day fan event is set to take place on May 9 and May 10 at Bharat Mandapam, Exhibition Hall No. 6, in New Delhi alongside the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
Blending basketball, entertainment and live music, the event will feature a 3-on-3 celebrity game on May 9 with personalities from film, sports and pop culture. The match will be coached by two-time NBA champion and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame member Isiah Thomas and four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins.
Team Thomas will include actor and television personality Rannvijay Singha, actor and producer Simran Kaur, actor and writer Harman Singha, former India Women’s National Team captain Shireen Limaye, and former 3x3 basketball player Lalrina Renthlei.
Team Cousins will feature actor Shanaya Kapoor, actor and professional 3x3 player Arvind Krishna, actor and former India Men’s National Team player Varun Sood, Indian-American actress Sonia Rathee, former 3x3 basketball player Dhruv Barman, and entrepreneur Anant Ahuja.
Apart from the celebrity game, the event will also include live performances from international artists NAV and Oppidan. NAV, known for his chart-topping hip-hop releases, and UK garage artist Oppidan will headline the music segment.
They will be joined by Indian and global performers including Yashraj, Reble, Fijiana, The Bausa and Chor Bazaar.
Organisers have also announced several fan-focused attractions such as meet-and-greet sessions with Isiah Thomas and DeMarcus Cousins, photo opportunities with the Larry O’Brien Trophy, performances by Sacramento Kings mascot Slamson, the Kings Dancers and the Kings dunk team.
Additional experiences at the venue will include basketball activities, streetwear showcases, food and beverage zones, and BUDX Masterclasses featuring workshops and panel discussions curated for emerging artists, DJs and fans.
The Sacramento Kings, who previously played the first NBA games in India in 2019, will participate in BUDX NBA House for the second consecutive year.
Last year’s Mumbai edition of BUDX NBA House reportedly drew more than six thousand fans across two days. Tickets for the New Delhi edition are reportedly available through District by Zomato.
