The buzz around Tu Yaa Main reached a fever pitch as the makers unveiled the film’s much-awaited trailer, drawing enthusiastic responses from critics and fans alike. Blending elements of romance, thriller, horror, and survival, the trailer has quickly propelled the film into the spotlight, positioning it as one of the most talked-about Valentine’s Week releases under the hashtag #DateFright.
At the trailer launch event, lead actors Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav spoke warmly about their experience of working with producer Aanand L Rai, crediting him for his belief in the project and the creative environment he fostered. Shanaya, who makes a significant mark with the film, shared how the producer’s faith in her played a defining role in her journey.
“After I met Aanand sir, he had this belief in me, and he saw this potential in me, for which I am forever grateful. He stood by me through everything, I am here because of that. And of course when I read the script, mujhe laga ki sab kuch hai isme. There is love, horror, thriller, dance, and comedy, so what is missing” she said.
Echoing her sentiments, Adarsh Gourav highlighted what drew him to the project, particularly the creative collaboration behind it. “There were a number of reasons that attracted me to this screenplay. Number one, Bejoy sir and Aanand sir coming together to make this film which itself is an unlikely combination because they have very unique styles of their own. So when I read the script which was written by Abhishek which was so brilliant, I just instantly responded to it. We had a lot of fun filming it,” he added.
With its fresh pairing, genre-bending narrative, and a creative team known for pushing cinematic boundaries, Tu Yaa Main is steadily shaping up to be a film that promises both emotional depth and edge-of-the-seat thrills.
Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Tu Yaa Main is produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma under the banner of Colour Yellow, along with Vinod Bhanushali and Kamlesh Bhanushali of Bhanushali Studios Limited. Rooted in today’s creator-driven culture, the film offers a youthful and contemporary take on love and survival.
Tu Yaa Main is slated for a theatrical release on February 13, 2026, adding to the excitement of Valentine’s Week with its unique ‘DateFright’ promise.
