Actress Shamita Shetty recently exhibited grace and strength in responding to a troll comment on her Instagram. The comment, which joked about her unmarried status, was met with a dignified reply that reflected on self-worth and happiness over societal expectations.

The incident occurred when a netizen commented on one of Shetty's recent Instagram posts, stating, "Buddy Shetty without men, 50 years have passed and there is no man." Unfazed by the negativity, Shetty penned a reply, highlighting the importance of self-worth and personal fulfilment beyond marital status.

"I want to take this opportunity to respond to this very kind lady trying to put another woman down for not being married," Shetty wrote. "Kudos to you... FYI... Mission unsuccessful!! Getting married is not the only purpose I have in life! Being happy and content and independent in life with gratitude in my heart always is."

She further wished the troll positivity and urged them to avoid putting others down. "Wishing you a lot of positivity in your life... Hope you never try to pull another woman down again! If you have nothing nice to say to people... best to just keep quiet! (sic.)"

On a similar note, it is worth mentioning here that Shamita recently celebrated her birthday by visiting an old age home. Sharing these moments of joy on her social media, she captioned her post saying, “Not all of us can do great things but we can do small things with great love Spent some time at Aaji Care yesterday, interacting with some of the elders who had so many beautiful stories n experiences to share.”
