Shalin Bhanot joins nationwide temple cleaning drive ahead of Ram Mandir inauguration; watch : Bollywood News

Television actor Shalin Bhanot, best known for his stint in Bigg Boss 16, has taken a step towards community service by actively participating in the nationwide temple cleaning drive. The actor was recently captured cleaning a local Ram Temple, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for cleaning every place of worship ahead of the much-anticipated Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya on January 22.

A video shared by paparazzi showcased Shalin Bhanot wearing a sleeveless white t-shirt and black jeans, cleaning the temple floor with a red cloth. The actor was joined by two young girls who participated in the task under his guidance.

This initiative, sparked by PM Modi's call for collective cleanliness, has seen active participation from various celebrities and politicians across the nation. Earlier, PM Modi himself engaged in the cleaning drive at the Kalaram Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra, accompanied by fellow BJP members. Notably, Bollywood star Jackie Shroff and Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, have also been actively involved in cleaning temples in Mumbai.

For the unversed, while Shalin Bhanot has been a part of the industry for decades, in 2023, he garnered significant popularity during his stint on Bigg Boss 16. Following the reality show, he then went onto sign a lead role in Ekta Kapoor's supernatural show, Bekaboo. He was also seen in the show, Inspector Avinash. In 2013, he celebrated 19 years in the TV industry.
