Actor Shahid Kapoor recently gave fans a glimpse of his wanderlust side on social media, but what truly caught attention in his latest post was a new addition to his luxury car collection. The actor took to Instagram a few days ago to share photos and videos from a drive, captioning the post, “Ghoomo phiro khush raho.” However, eagle-eyed fans and many of us, also noticed the plush grey Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV featured in the visuals.
Popularly known as the G-Wagen, the SUV is widely regarded as one of the most iconic luxury off-roaders in the world worth Rs. 2.90 crores. While it has evolved into a global status symbol over the years, the vehicle continues to retain its instantly recognisable boxy design that has remained largely unchanged for decades. Despite its luxury appeal and premium interiors, the G-Class is known for its powerful engine and robust four-wheel-drive system, allowing it to perform equally well on rugged terrain and city roads.

Kapoor’s latest purchase further adds to his already enviable garage, which features a mix of ultra-luxury vehicles and high-performance machines. The actor is known for his preference for the Mercedes-Maybach range, and his collection includes not one but two Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 SUVs. His luxury fleet also includes BMW M2, Jaguar XKR-S , Porsche Cayenne GTS, Range Rover Vogue, among others.
Beyond his passion for automobiles, Shahid Kapoor has also been busy on the professional front. The actor recently received appreciation for his role in the film O’Romeo. He is currently working on Cocktail 2, where he will share screen space with Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. Additionally, Kapoor is expected to return with the second season of the popular series Farzi on Prime Video, which has already generated considerable anticipation among fans.
