Social media is flooded with everyone sharing pictures of their New Year celebration and Bollywood celebs are no different. Among many others, Shahid Kapoor has managed to catch everyone’s attention. On the first Monday of 2023, January 2, Shahid took to his social media handle and shared a drool-worthy photo of himself.

Speaking of the image, the Udta Punjab actor can be seen flaunting his defined jaw-line. Going by the picture, the star enjoyed some time in a pool. He looked dapper as he wore a pair of sunglasses. Instagramming the photo, he wrote a short caption, which read, “Sharing my profile.”

In no time, his fans flooded the comments section with fire emoticons. “Profile approved,” wrote a fan club, while another commented, “My 2023 is already made.”

Talking about his previous Instagram post, the Kabir Singh actor was posing shirtless while standing in a swimming pool. Captioning the post, he penned down a New Year note for his fans and wrote, “Keep it real and make it count. Happy new year everyone. Be worthy and thankful. Have an amazing year.”

Coming to the professional front, the 41-year-old actor was last seen in Jersey, which was released in April 2022. The Hindi remake of the Nani starrer of the same name performed poorly at the box office. Now, he is all set for his OTT debut with popular director duo, Raj and DK's next, an action thriller series, titled Farzi. Besides Kapoor, the upcoming project will also star popular South actor Vijay Sethupathi.

On the other hand, he will also headline filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar's next directorial Bloody Daddy. Reportedly, the forthcoming film is a 2011 French film Nuit Blanche (Sleepless Nights) starring Tomer Sisley. However, the makers have not made an official announcement confirming the same.
