Shahid Kapoor, renowned for his versatility as an actor, on Tuesday sent his fans into a frenzy when he unveiled his new look. The actor appeared at the airport sporting a clean-shaven face, although he concealed his features behind a mask, leaving fans intrigued. Shahid was accompanied by his wife, Mira, adding to the excitement among onlookers. A video capturing the couple's airport appearance quickly went viral on social media, sparking further anticipation and curiosity about Shahid's upcoming projects and the reason behind his latest transformation.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput have bought a beautiful residence in Mumbai, as per reports. The condominium, valued at Rs 59 crores, is located in Mumbai's Worli locality. The apartment is part of the Oberoi 360 West project, according to IndexTap.com.
According to the records revealed, the luxury space measures 5,395 square feet RERA carpet area and has three dedicated parking places. The paperwork also revealed a transaction for Rs 58.66 crore, which was filed on May 24, 2024. Oberoi Reality is constructing the high-rise project, and Shahid and Mira's flat is said to be on one of the upper floors. The couple bought the posh flat from Chandak Realtors Pvt Ltd.
“The particular apartment was purchased by the Chandak Realty at a price of around Rs. 65,000 per sqft and it has now been sold at a price of over Rs. 1 lakh per sq ft. This is over 50% appreciation in a period of one year,” the Hindustan Times quoted a real estate consultant as saying. As per their report, Chandak Realty bought a bulk of these apartments last year. Of these, 28 apartments were bought by D’ Mart owner Radhakishan Damani’s family and close associates for Rs 1,238 crore last year.
The project, 360 West, offers 5BHK and 4BHK flats along with duplex apartments and penthouses. The project has a sea view with all apartments facing West. The building has a height of 360 metres. As per reports Shahid Kapoor has paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.75 crore.
Meanwhile, Shahid was most recently seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, co-starring with Kriti Sanon. The film did well at the box office and garnered positive reviews from both the audience and reviewers. Next, he's working on big-budget projects like Deva, Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues, and Farzi 2.
Last year, during Dussehra, the actor took to Instagram to announce his new flick Deva. He also provided the first look in which he appears to be playing a police officer in the film. Shahid was photographed flaunting his short hairdo while clutching a gun. Shahid shared the photo, revealing that he had reserved Dussehra 2024 for Deva. "Deva in theatres on Dussehra 11th October 2024," he stated. The film also stars Pooja Hegde.
