Actor Shaheer Sheikh and his wife Ruchika Kapoor embraced parenthood for the very first time earlier this month. The couple became proud parents of a baby girl and have now declared his name. Taking to his Instagram, the actor shared an unseen photo with his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor.
The throwback picture was from their pregnancy days. In the picture, Ruchikaa is seen in a purple jumpsuit while the actor is all cool in casual clothes. Shaheer has revealed that they have named the little girl 'Ananya'. Sharing the picture Shaheer wrote, "Blessed with the gift of life. ❤️Filled with immense gratitude… need all your love and good wishes for the journey ahead. Keep us in your prayers #Anaya."

On the work front, Shaheer is currently seen reprising his role as Dev in Sony Tv's Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aese Bhi 2.
