The World Cup 2023 saw India remain atop the cricket board with wins after wins and tried their best to get the final win against the Australian cricket team. However, the Rohit Sharma-led team faced defeat against Pat Cummins-led Australian team as the latter defeated India by six wickets. This resulted in their sixth World Cup win. However, following the loss, Shah Rukh Khan, who was also presented at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, took to social media to motivate Team India.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately it happened today….but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket…u bring too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and respect. You make us one proud Nation.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing up for his third release of the year after Pathaan and Jawan. The actor will star in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki on December 21, 2023.
