The film also featured Manoj Bajpayee before his entry into the Bollywood industry. The film, which had Arjun Raina and Arundhati Roy as the lead actors, had Shah Rukh Khan playing a miniscule role as an effeminate character, who is quite philosophical in nature and speaks in long sentences as he advices someone. While the role lasts hardly lasts for a couple of minutes, the actor appears in the first quarter of this film. In Which Annie Gives Those Ones is a coming-of-age drama but not commercial in nature and revolved around a group of architecture students. The film also received two National Awards in 1989 for Best Feature Film in English and Best Screenplay, which was incidentally written by Arundhati Roy. While the film is not available on OTT, fans can catch the film on YouTube.

Coming to Shah Rukh Khan, the birthday boy is currently prepping for a comeback on the big screen after four years with Pathaan that is slated to release on January 25, 2023. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is an action entertainer also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in prominent roles.
