She expressed admiration for Zeenat Aman's captivating presence on Instagram, considering it a powerful tool to connect with contemporary audiences. She said, “The fact is, people have a short memory, and youngsters don’t remember any of the actors that we have admired. To remain relevant and visible is extremely important because you cannot bask in the glory of the past. You have to be doing something today, not necessarily a film, but something that brings a certain visibility.”
Regarding Zeenat Aman's internet takeover and the charisma, she exudes online, Shabana Azmi shared, “People like Zeenat who are being so loved on social media are because of what she is writing. It is not frivolous. She is not trying to compete with a 24-year-old. She is talking about the life she has lived and that is attractive.”
Shabana Azmi was recently seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. On the other hand, Zeenat Aman is an Indian actress and a former model. The Evil Within (1970), starring Dev Anand, marked the former beauty queen's acting debut. She has acted in films like Yaadon Ki Baarat, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Qurbani, Dharam Veer, Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Insaaf Ka Tarazu among others. The actress will soon return to the silver screen with Faraz Arif Ansari’s next, Bun Tikki. As per reports, the plan is to take the movie on floors by November of this year in Himachal Pradesh. The director plans to talk about parenting and gender identity through the movie. Abhay Deol will play the role of a father in the film.
