Selfiee: Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi bring 90’s nostaglia in ‘Main Khiladi’ but fans miss Saif Ali Khan, watch music video 90 : Bollywood News

After an entertainment-packed trailer, the makers of Selfiee revealed the first song from the film titled ‘Main Khiladi’. The teaser of the same was dropped recently & the audience couldn’t stop swaying on the beats. The wait finally ends & the full song is here for us.

Emraan Hashmi shared it on social media with the caption: "Dance ho ya Action, Khiladi does it all! #MainKhiladi is yours. Taali Bajao... Shor Machao.. Listen to it Now! #Selfiee in cinemas from 24th Feb." Joining the entertaining duo are Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty on a foot-tapping groovy ride! Sung by Udit Narayan & Abhijeet Bhattacharya, with original lyrics by Maya Govind and composed by Anu Malik, the music is recreated, programmed and arranged by Tanishk Bagchi.

Emraan is looking super cool giving us a 70s vibe with the multi-patterned sequin jacket paired with black glasses & black trousers. The original song was picturised on Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in Main Khiladi Tu Anari. While the new version is foot-tapping, fans clearly missed Saif Ali Khan who brought a lot of naughtiness to the original song.

Tanishk speaking more about the song says, "I always compose every song as it's my first. The experience of making 'Main Khiladi' was groovy & fun. However, after Tip Tip's huge hit, the pressure was more as this song was being composed for the OG Khiladi, Akshay Kumar. The wacky steps have added more pep to the song. We have worked so hard for this. This is going to be your new favorite song to play on a loop.”

Selfiee is helmed by Raj Mehta. The film is produced by Dharma Productions. Emraan Hashmi & Akshay Kumar will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time which has also increased the buzz of the film. The film also features Diana Penty & Nushrratt Bharuccha. It is all set to release in the theatres on February 24, 2023.
