Sara Ali Khan wished her co-actor and friend Kartik Aaryan on his birthday, which was yesterday, through a sweet wish on her Instagram story.

She shared a picture of Kartik all-ready to cut his birthday cake and wrote, “Happiest birthday Kartik Aaryan. Hope this year is all that you’ve hoped for and may all your dreams continue coming true.”

Kartik and Sara have acted together once in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal in 2020. The film saw Kartik playing dual characters – one based in the current era and the other in the 1990s. Sara played his love interest from the current era.

Much before doing the film, Sara had expressed her desire of working with Kartik and knowing him more when she had attended the Koffee With Karan episode with father and actor Saif Ali Khan.

Kartik celebrated his birthday yesterday by cutting a cake in presence of the media. To make the occasion even special, he shared a glimpse of his upcoming film Shehzada, which is slated to release in February 2023.
