Sara Ali Khan is eagerly anticipating the release of the suspense thriller, Murder Mubarak, slated for release this week. Directed by Homi Adajania, the movie features a stellar cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, and Karisma Kapoor with Sara essaying the role of a rich girl. In an interaction recently, as Sara opened up about her journey of shooting the film, she recalled how she was approached and how it holds a special importance in her life.

Reflecting on her journey and working with filmmaker Homi Adajania for the first time, Sara Ali Khan mentioned in a recent interview, "Honestly I think that, how everyone has been talking about Homi’s energy- all of that is there and true. But I think that the moments that are probably spent off the set with them, whether it was by the swimming pool or whether it was in these room sessions, I think he kind of reminded me that what I have as a human being is enough,” she said. Sara also went on to add, "And I think, Homi sir, for sure, but along with him, this entire cast has helped me to do that and be who I am, both on and off camera and it came to me at an important and defining moment in my life and career, so am very very grateful.”

Premiering on Netflix on March 15, 2024, Murder Mubarak promises an intriguing blend of layered characters with each of them being labelled as suspects in a murder case as the cop Pankaj Tripathi tries to uncover this captivating mystery.

As for Sara Ali Khan, apart from Murder Mubarak, the actress is also gearing up to portray the role of an unsung hero, freedom fighter Usha Mehta in a historical drama Ae Watan Mere Watan, which is set against the backdrop of pre-Independence India and will be streaming on Prime Video.
