Saif Ali Khan impressed us as the carefree and Casanova Sameer in the Farhan Akhtar directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai, co-starring Aamir Khan and Akshaye Khanna. His scene where he attempts to talk to his girlfriend Priya played by Suchitra Pillai is one of the most popular and cult scenes till today and recreating the same was Sara which has left audiences quite surprised and they are eager to know more about it.

Earlier, on Wednesday 14, Sara Ali Khan, who is juggling between her films, shared a video of her decked up as a bride and talking to a certain ‘Sanjay’ on the phone. The actress recreated the exact scene from Dil Chahta Hai when Saif aka Sameer attempts to talk to a very angry Priya but fails to complete a statement but instead his dialogues are only fragments of the conversation he attempts to have with her since she doesn’t allow him to talk. Similarly, here Sara, who is about to get married tries to talk to ‘Sanjay’ who refuses to let her speak as a result of which, she too only shares only tid-bits of these sentences.

Fans who came across the video on social media are giving out mixed reactions wherein some are appreciating Sara’s sense of humour whereas others are comparing her performance with her father. Some fans posted appreciative comments like, “too good Sara..” and “U r the best”, whereas a few others believed that her father Saif Ali Khan was the OG and did a better job. “Sorry baby your dad did it better” and “She din do justice… good attempt though,” were some of the comments on the post wherein the fans believed Saif possibly did a better job.

Although Sara Ali Khan did manage to grab attention with this video, the actress has maintained silence regarding the reason she recreated this video. We wonder if this is her way of announcing a new project or a teaser for her new commercial – well our guess is as good as yours!
