Accompanying the emotional note were three nostalgic photographs capturing moments shared between Sanjay Dutt and his mother. In the first image, a young Sanjay can be seen standing beside his mother, Nargis. The second photo depicts a candid moment between the mother-son duo engrossed in conversation. The final picture captures Nargis gazing affectionately at her son, exuding warmth and love.

Nargis Dutt, a legendary figure in Indian cinema, tragically passed away on May 3, 1981, after battling pancreatic cancer. Her death came just five days before her son, Sanjay Dutt, was set to make his Bollywood debut in a leading role. Although his official debut came with the film Rocky, Sanjay had previously showcased his talent as a child performer in the movie Reshma Aur Shera in 1971. Both Rocky and Reshma Aur Shera were directed by his father, the renowned actor and filmmaker Sunil Dutt.

On the professional front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in the Tamil film Leo, starring alongside Thalapathy Vijay.
