Sanjay Dutt reveals why he doesn’t want Ranveer Singh to ever play his ‘Khalnayak’ character : Bollywood News

The recent episode of the weekly comedy show Case Toh Banta Hai, which streams on Amazon miniTV, featured Sanjay Dutt as the latest guest. The actor was more than comfortable in defending all the bizarre accusations, levied on him by Riteish Deshmukh. While doing the same, his defense lawyer Varun Sharma quizzed him about Khalnayak remake and whether he would like to see Ranveer Singh essay the role, and for the same, Sanjay Dutt had the funniest response.

In sync with his swag and goofy nature, the Lage Raho Munna Bhai superstar took the help of his friend, whom we all know as ‘Baapu’, in defending the funny-yet-absurd accusations. Adding to the fun moments of the episode, Varun Sharma while having a conversation with Sanjay Dutt asked him, “Agar Khalnayak ka remake bane toh inn mein se kaunse actor ko aapka role nahi karna chahiye - Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, ya Vicky Kaushal? (If you want a remake of Khalnayak, which of these actors would you like to see essay your role – Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, ya Vicky Kaushal).” To the same, Sanjay Dutt responded, “Ranveer Singh, woh aaj kal kapade nahi pehnta hai” (He doesn’t wear clothes these days). While the actor said the comment in his stride, it seems that a lot of the ’83 actor’s fans feel that it was a subtle dig at Ranveer Singh.

Besides this, the episode also had Sanju Baba shaking a leg with his friend and Janta Ka Lawyer Riteish Deshmukh. Sanjay Dutt was also reminded of Arshad Warsi as he found a new and ‘khoobsurat’ Circuit in comedian Sugandha Bhosale on the show. Dressed in a glossy black kurta and sunglasses, Sugandha as Circuit, charmed Sanjay Dutt and he quipped, “Itna khoobsurat Circuit aaj hi dekha maine. (I saw such a beautiful Circuit for the first time today).
