Sandeep Reddy Vanga reveals Jawan and Pathaan to be the last two films he saw in theatres : Bollywood News

With Shah Rukh Khan garnering record breaking success this year with two of his releases, the industry is rejoicing the achievements of the superstar. As many of his industry fans are expressing their love and respect for the megastar, among them is also Sandeep Reddy Vanga who is gearing up for his own release this week. Ahead of Animal release in theatres, the filmmaker opened up about his own experience in multiplexes and theatres as he revealed that he watched two films this year, both Shah Rukh Khan entertainers, Pathaan and Jawan.

A video of Sandeep Reddy Vanga talking about his theatrical experience of watching the Shah Rukh Khan starrers found its way on social media and has been going viral. Interestingly, earlier this year, the filmmaker also met Shah Rukh Khan during one of the get-togethers and the two of them were seen bonding over films.

Speaking of Jawan, the film marked the first collaboration of Shah Rukh Khan with South filmmaker Atlee as well as the Bollywood debut of South superstar Nayanthara as well as Vijay Sethupathi. The film released in September and managed to break box office records created by SRK’s film other release Pathaan, the YRF film starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, which is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe.

Coming to Animal, the film is a Pan India action entertainer which is expected to release in five different languages. Starring Ranbir Kapoor as the leading man in the titular role, the film has Anil Kapoor playing his father, Rashmika Mandanna as his wife, Saloni Batra as his sister, along with Bobby Deol as the antagonist. The film also stars Triptii Dimri, Siddhant Karnick, Shakti Kapoor, among others in key roles. It is slated to release on December 1, 2023 in Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil languages.
