Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, who have acted together in Andaz Apna Apna, are also good friends with each other. The Tiger star recalled an incident when a prank played on him by Aamir Khan backfired and in turn, Salman left his colleague in shock over his singing skills. The incident happened during a charity event when Aamir suddenly handed over the mic to Khan requesting him to sing amidst the massive crowd.

Salman Khan recalled about performing for a charity event at the recent show Aap Ki Adalat and opened up on the prank played by Aamir Khan and how it backfired on him. He said, “It was a packed ground. We entered from backstage and as we were having a fun banter with the audience, they were forcing us for a singing performance. Aamir, out of nowhere, suddenly said, ‘If you want someone to sing, Salman is a great singer and he will sing’”. I was shocked! I looked at Aamir as the audience continued to cheer for me to sing. I was like ‘phas gaya main’. I asked the singer they had, if he knows any Bollywood song. I asked him if he knows, ‘Jiye toh Jiye kaise’ (Saajan - 1991) and he said, ‘Yes’. So I asked him to behind the wings and start singing. So I went on stage and announced that I will sing. I checked with the orchestra musicians if they know the song and they said, ‘yes’. So the singer was singing the song and I was lip syncing on stage”.

He continued the narration, adding, “Aamir was shocked. He was like, ‘Kya badiya gaata hai. Main toh isko phasane ke chakkar mein tha (he sings so well. I toh wanted to prank him)’. Main gaya lip sync mein aur phir uske paas gaya ‘thank you’ bolne (I nicely completed the song in lip sync and later, went on to thank their singer). After that, I said, ‘now Aamir will sing’.”

Salman Khan took a walk down memory lane during the show Aap Ki Adalat and recalled several moments he shared with superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, among others.
