Salman Khan ‘loves’ kids; says, ‘But unki maa bhi saath mein aati hai’ : Bollywood News

Salman Khan, the ‘virgin’ bachelor of Bollywood, has more than often been asked about his marriage plans. In the recent show Aap Ki Adalat, the actor opened up about his future plans of settling down in which he confessed that although he never planned about a wedding, he did have plans for kids because he loves them. Furthermore, he also quirkily remarked that while he does desire for kids, he knows that their mother aka his wife will come along with them which he is not very keen on.

Salman Khan opened up about his desire to have kids in Aap Ki Adalat saying, “Woh toh plan tha. Bahu ka nahi bachhe ka tha. lekin abhi woh law ke hisaab se hindustan mein ho nahi sakta. (That was the plan. Not of having a wife or daughter-in-law for my parents but to have kids. However, the law in India doesn’t permit that).” For the unversed, adoption for a single man is not allowed in the country as per law.

He continued, "Bachon ka bada shauk hai mujhe. I love kids. Lekin kids jab aati hain toh maa bhi aati hain Sir. (I am extremely fond of kids. But Sir, with them, their mother also comes along). He further commented on how his house is filled with women, referring to his mothers, Salma, Helen, and his sisters. “Maa unke liye bahut achhi hai Sir. Par humare ghar mein maa hi maa padi hai Sir. Humare paas poora zilla, poora gaon hai. Woh unka achha khayal rakhengi. Lekin unki maa, woh meri patni hogi... (Yes, I know that a mother extremely important for them. But there are lot of mothers in my house. We have a village full of them who will take care of them. But their mother will be my wife)."

While his final comment about ‘the wife’ left audiences in splits, Salman also pointed at them and said, “Dekho woh sab kitne khush hai (See how happy they are)”, that further left him roaring with laughter.

On the work front, Salman Khan recently was seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan alongside Pooja Hegde and a host of other actors. The actor is now gearing up for the release of Tiger 3 co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi that is slated for release during Diwali 2023.
