Salman gets back his Wanted bracelet for Bodyguard : Bollywood News

So what if Salman Khan is playing a cool, suave and stylish Bodyguard in the namesake film? At the end of the day, audiences still expect Salman Khan to be playing, what else, but Salman Khan in every film of his. No wonder, the superstar is continuing to oblige and one step in that direction is to continue with his lucky charm. After missing in the initial few posters of Bodyguard, Salman's favourite bracelet is back in the new look that has just been revealed.

"Yes, Bhai would be seen with his bracelet yet again", confirms a stylist attached to the film, "It would have been sacrilege to part from it. In fact a glimpse of that has already been revealed in the latest poster design. However, a call has to be taken on how much is good enough since he carries a different persona in Bodyguard."

It has to be seen though whether a new persona in this out and out entertainer would indeed make a difference to how Salman would be presented before his audience. After all, the bracelet first found itself on Salman's wrist during Wanted. The film was a super success and ever since then he has seldom left his bracelet home, both on and off the screen.

"In fact after Wanted, Salman wanted the bracelet for Dabangg as well. However, when director Abhinav Kashyap expressed his apprehension over his 'desi cop' character donning a cool bracelet, Salman obliged and removed it whenever he gave a shot. It was back though for Ready since it went well with the boyish character that he was playing. Anees Bazmee didn't mind it either", says a close associate.

For Bodyguard though, it is yet to be known whether bracelet has come as an after thought or was it always a part of the plan. Since emphasis so far has been on a no-nonsense look with Salman wearing those well stitched suits with glares to match that go with his macho image, the lucky charm has made an appearance only now.

"It doesn't matter whether this bracelet makes a full fledged or a special appearance", chuckles a trade follower, "Whatever be the case, rest assured audience would definitely be in a frenzy if there is a shot reserved in the film where Salman reveals this bracelet under the sleeves. That's what you term as the moment where you go through suspension of disbelief. Mark my words; this one is going to be for his fans."

Well, let's see if the makers oblige beyond a poster as well.
