Saiyami Kher recently shared an emotional note on social media after wrapping up shooting for filmmaker Vikram Phadnis’ untitled upcoming film. The project also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Vineet Kumar Singh, Manish Paul and Suchitra Pillai in pivotal roles.
Taking to Instagram, Saiyami reflected on the experience of working on the film and expressed gratitude for being trusted with another author-backed role in her career. Known for choosing performance-driven projects, the actor described the untitled film as one of her most meaningful creative journeys so far. Sharing a series of pictures from the sets, Saiyami wrote, “A very overdue post... but some experiences need time before you find the words for them :) As actors, we spend so much of our lives hoping for parts that move us, challenge us and stay with us long after the film ends. And somehow, I've been incredibly lucky that some truly special filmmakers have trusted me with author backed roles in films Choked, 8am Metro, Ghoomer, Mirzya ... and now this one.”
Speaking about director Vikram Phadnis and his approach towards filmmaking, she added, “This (untitled) film is especially close to my heart because @vikramphadnis thought I was worthy of being part of something so personal to him. He has made it with so much honesty and love. I have never seen a director who is so deeply involved in every tiny detail.” The actor went on to praise the filmmaker’s commitment and the atmosphere he created on set. “But what makes Vikram truly special is the heart he brings to a set. So happy to work with good human beings. A rarity these days. He looks after the entire unit like family,” she wrote.

Saiyami also acknowledged cinematographer Jay Oza for his dedication towards the project and appreciated her co-stars Tahir Raj Bhasin and Vineet Kumar Singh, calling them “secure and giving actors.” She further shared that she had long hoped to collaborate with both actors on a meaningful project. Concluding her note, Saiyami thanked the entire team behind the film and expressed gratitude for the memories and experiences she gained during the shoot.
The untitled film has already sparked curiosity among audiences owing to its ensemble cast and the emotional response from Saiyami Kher. While details about the storyline remain under wraps, the project marks another directorial venture for Vikram Phadnis after his previous work in cinema.
