Saira Banu makes no qualms about her love for social media and the yesteryear actress always has interesting anecdotes, trivia, and memories to share on the platform. While she is often seen sharing several stories from her life in the Bollywood world, the recent post she shared is a special wish to her many film co-star Dharmendra who is celebrating his 88th birthday on December 8.

Saira Banu took to social media to share an Instagram story which includes a photo of her with Dharmendra and her husband, the legendary actor Dilip Kumar. Along with it, she penned a beautiful note about her memories with the Sholay actor as she said, " Dear @aapkadharam Ji, My earliest memories of you are intertwined with the camaraderie shared between you and Dilip Sahib a bond akin to brothers, where Sahib gracefully embodied the role of your elder brother. I always treasure the joy of knowing you, @dreamgirlhemamalini, and the kids. May your birthday be adorned with the charm that you effortlessly bring onto the screen to this day. Here's to celebrating you and your legacy for years to come. Happy Birthday Dharam Ji"!

In an earlier post which she had shared in August, Saira Banu had also penned a long note about the friendship of Dilip and Dharmendra in which she had stated about how Dharmendra met Sahib aka Dilip Kumar during his struggling days and how the latter went on to become a ‘beacon of light’ in the life of the Chupke Chupke actor. She had concluded the note saying, “Dharam Ji never got to work with Sahib except when he made a brief appearance in Paari. "This is the only photograph I have in my house which I see every day besides the photographs of my parents and my sons." Dharam Ji said, “When I was working with Saira, I used to tell her jokingly, “I am in competition with Saira for the love of Yusuf Sahib!"”

While Dharmendra and Dilip Kumar has never worked, the actor has worked in several films with Saira Banu which includes Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Aadmi Aur Insaan, Jwaar Bhata, among others.
