Sahil Arora opens up about bagging major role in Mangal Lakshmi after Jamai No. 1 1 : Bollywood News

Sahil Arora, who has become a popular face due to music videos, is expected to have bagged a consecutive major roles in the ongoing prime time show Mangal Lakshmi on Colors. While he is recently seen as a positive character in Zee TV’s Jamai No. 1, starring Abhishek Malik as the leading man, the actor is all set to showcase his versatility, as he will be playing a different role in the show as he will be joining the long list of antagonists – Sowmya and Jiya played by Jiya Mustafa and Priyanka Purohit.

Sahil Arora is excited about this opportunity and shared his excitement about playing two such diverse roles in two different shows to Bollywood Hungama saying, “The passion and profession being the same is the best life for me! And this is getting me closer to my dream! Both are different characters, I am being in the state of gratitude to be a part of this beautiful projects! "I am really happy to see the response to Jamai No. 1and Mangal Lakshmi from the audience. I am also excited since this is my first collab with LSD production and panorama production".

Recent reports suggest that he will be essaying the character of Jigar in the Colors’ show. “This are a really special project for me pairing with such a good actors and made it even more special. With such an incredible team behind it, for Mangal Lakshmi and Jamai No. 1," he added.

Speaking of Mangal Lakshmi, the show currently features Deepika Singh, Naman Shaw, Sanika Amit, Shubham Dipta, among others in key roles. The show currently airs on Colors at 9 pm everyday and traces the journey of two sisters – Mangal and Lakshmi as they deal with the trials and tribulations of their married lives. With Sowmya and Jiya already playing villains in their lives, fans are excited to see the twist that Sahil will be adding as Jigar on the show.
