The shared video reportedly questioned Alia Bhatt’s alleged use of animal-derived leather in her recent fashion appearance. While Rupali did not add a written caption or personal comment, many social media users interpreted the repost as an indirect statement, especially given her known support for animal welfare causes.
As of now, Alia Bhatt has not publicly responded to the discussion surrounding the repost.
Alia recently attended Gucci’s Primavera show in Milan as a Global Brand Ambassador for Gucci. The event was notable as the debut presentation of creative director Demna for the label. For the show, Alia opted for a bold, darker aesthetic that drew online comparisons to The Matrix's visual style. Her recent fashion appearances have reflected a noticeable shift from softer casual looks to more dramatic runway-inspired styling.
This is not the first time Alia Bhatt’s association with Gucci has drawn public reactions.
