Many married actors, in the past, have spoken about often dealing with pregnancy rumours and Rubina Dilaik is no stranger to this. The actress, who has been married to colleague and actor Abhinav Shukla for over half a decade now, has been dealing with these quite frequently and the actress is unfazed about it. Recently, she even maintained that these things come with being a part of public figure, but it really does not impact her professional or personal life.

And of late, yet again, Rubina Dilaik had to deal with these rumours when she was snapped at a building which has a maternity home and later when social media followers assumed about her baby bump because she opted for a flowy gown. Addressing these rumours in an interview with Hindustan Times and clarifying about the same, Rubina said, “As a public figure, I am aware that rumours and speculations keep happening. I know that I can’t do much about it so I don’t bother myself with these things.” She also revealed that she remains unaffected by these things as she added, “No rumour affects me, whether it is work or my personal life. We have exposed our lives as public figures for people to have their discretion, so it is absolutely okay. I continue doing my work and I let people keep guessing and assuming,”

Rubina Dilaik gained fame for her role of a submissive, docile yet strong willed and religious daughter-in-law in the show Choti Bahu alongside Avinash Sachdev. The actress, later on, went on to feature in shows like Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed and Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki which further added to her popularity. She also featured in the reality show Bigg Boss alongside husband Abhinav Shukla, and later in shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She is currently gearing up for her Punjabi debut Chal Bhajj Chaliye.
