Rohit Shetty is one of the most lauded filmmakers in Bollywood and has been appreciated for his films around the globe. He is currently shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi in Bulgaria and has also been directing his upcoming cop film, Sooryavanshi. This is not the first time that the director is shooting in Bulgaria.
He has already shot for Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Dilwale and help boost the country’s tourism. So, to felicitate him, the country sent him a certificate of appreciation. He took to his social media to inform his fans with the caption, “This is what you call the Power of Indian Cinema. Last year Bulgaria saw 23% rise of Indian tourists after Dilwale. Feeling blessed and honoured to be felicitated by the Indian Embassy in Bulgaria that too on such a Prestigious Day. I Hope Khatron Ke Khiladi also generate the same euphoria and creates magic for the Tourism in Bulgaria... Happy Independence Day”
Sooryavanshi is slated to release in March and stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
