Filmmaker Karan Johar returns to direction with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani as it promises to be a cinematic extravaganza. It’s been seven years since Karan last picked up his director’s hat. Following the teaser release in June, the makers dropped the first song ‘Tum Kya Mile’ starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt on June 28. Now, the director has released the first look test of the actors.

In the photo, Ranveer Singh, who plays Rocky, is dressed in a floral red shirt as he has his arm around Alia Bhatt, who plays Rani. She is wearing a peach saree with red blouse. Smokey eyes, bindi, soft make-up and hair complete her look. Karan Johar captioned the post, “Our very first look test of the film! Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions present A Dharma Productions film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta is all set to hit the big screen on 28th July, 2023.
