Riteish Deshmukh reveals Shah Rukh Khan being the reason behind his ‘love affair’ with black coffee : Bollywood News

Actor Riteish Deshmukh is set to star opposite Tamannaah Bhatia in the upcoming romantic comedy Plan A Plan B. With marriages, divorces, swipe rights, and everything in between, this rom-com is all set to release on Netflix on September 30, 2022.

Ahead of the release, the two stars got together for a game of ‘Truth Vs Lies’ on Netflix’s official YouTube channel. When Tamannaah started the game by picking the first card out of the bowl, she read, “Chai is better than coffee” and disagreed saying she loves coffee. During this time, Riteish recalled an incident about his love for black coffee, and the reason behind his addiction maybe because of Shah Rukh Khan.

“Shah Rukh Khan had come to meet my dad. I was very excited; a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan,” Riteish said, adding, “Like I was ready with the welcome committee and asked what should we get for you? He was very kind like ‘No nothing at all!’ I was just enamored by like ‘This is Shah Rukh Khan’. He said, ‘I will have a black coffee.’ I remember heading out like ‘What is black coffee?’ I spoke to the chef in the kitchen and told him to make black coffee and the chef asked in Marathi, “Sir, how to make this?’ I told him, ‘Even I have no clue what black coffee means!’ Then someone told us how to make the coffee. So, yeah, I got to know what black coffee is later in life, and then when I started drinking it; I am drinking it for five years now. It’s amazing, it’s a love affair.”

Coming back to Plan A Plan B, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Tamannaah Bhatia, Poonam Dhillon, and Kusha Kapila, the film is produced by Rajat Arora (Funk Your Blues Entertainment Pvt Ltd) and Trilok Malhotra and K R Harish (India Stories Media & Entertainment Pvt Ltd) and directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
