Richa Chadha, known for her candid nature, recently shared her experiences dealing with jealousy in the film industry. The actress revealed an incident from her debut film, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! where she encountered a jealous co-star who went as far as throwing away her belongings.

During an interview with Pinkvilla, Richa Chadha expressed how incidents of jealousy were not uncommon in the industry. She recounted, “On my first film, there was an incident that made me feel really bad. I had come straight from college to do a scene in Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, and I had 103-104 fever. I was told that someone is going to come late, so till then I can use this particular vanity van, and for the whole day, I would anyway be shooting. So I got ready and left, but in the meantime someone came, their staff threw all my stuff.”

The actress expressed her disappointment and questioned the behaviour, emphasising the financial investment and livelihoods that were at stake. Richa Chadha stressed that such actions should not be taken lightly as they directly impact people's lives. However, she acknowledged that these occurrences were not uncommon in the industry. With the rise of social media and camera phones, these incidents are now being highlighted and discussed more openly.

Despite facing such challenges, Richa Chadha remains optimistic and does not attribute it to karma or destiny. She believes that those who engage in such behaviour are solely responsible for their actions. The actress highlighted the need for awareness and a change in attitude within the industry to foster a more supportive and respectful environment.

On the professional front, Richa Chadha is gearing up for the release of the third instalment of the popular Fukrey series.
