Playing the role of Mishti in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Rhea Sharma is very excited to show this new side of her role to her fans. Initially, her role was that of a lead actress who manages to fight through situations all by herself. Now that the show has resumed after a break of three months, new challenges are coming Rhea's way in terms of expanding her horizons as an actor. This is the first time that she is playing a role like Mishti that will show signs of PTSD and highlight other mental illnesses.

On the first day back, Rhea Sharma says that they were all informed of how the safety precautions are being maintained on the set and how they have to ensure minimalistic contact with each other. It was a little difficult to grasp the situation on the first day, according to Rhea, but they are adjusting to the new normal slowly. When it comes to her role, she says that she discusses the scenes where she is undergoing a panic attack with the director, Ashish, in detail. While these scenes can be really taxing, she tries to keep in mind that it’s just her character that is going through this and not her, so she tries her best to not let it affect her.

Since this is the first time that she is performing and showcasing an intense side of her character, her family was really impressed by her performance.
