Actor Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja are soaking in the joy of welcoming their second child, a baby boy, on March 29, 2026. As wishes continue to pour in from all quarters, it was Sonam’s sister, Rhea Kapoor, who delighted fans by sharing the first glimpse of the newborn—sending the internet into a collective meltdown.
Taking to Instagram, Rhea introduced her nephew to the world with a heartwarming picture. In the image, she is seen cradling the baby boy in her arms, dressed in relaxed athleisure and wearing a face mask, while gazing lovingly at the little one wrapped in a blue blanket. The candid moment quickly went viral, with fans and well-wishers gushing over the adorable frame.
Sharing the picture, Rhea wrote, “All you need is (heart hands and face holding back tears emojis)... and in @sonamkapoor’s case some super human mom strength. #masilife.”

It read, “With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby boy on the 29th of March 2026. Our family has grown, and with his arrival, our hearts have expanded in the most beautiful way."

The couple’s love story dates back to 2015 when they met during the promotions of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. What began as a chance connection soon blossomed into a lasting relationship, culminating in their intimate wedding ceremony in 2018. They embraced parenthood for the first time in 2022 with the birth of their son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, and in November 2025, Sonam announced her second pregnancy with a series of stunning photos flaunting her baby bump.
