Chehre directed Rumi Jaffery's daughter Alfia Jaffery is getting married and her Mehendi ceremony took place on Sunday, August 1, in the presence of some of the close family and friends. This pre-wedding ritual was attended by actors Rhea Chakraborty and Krystle D’Souza.
Pictures and videos from the ceremony have gone viral on social media where Alfia Jaffery can be seen all dolled up for her Mehendi ceremony with actresses Rhea Chakraborty and Krystle D’Souza standing beside her. The duo seemed to have decided to twin with the bride by wearing radiant traditional yellow outfits.
The bride-to-be Alfia Jaffery re-shared the videos from her Mehendi ceremony on her Instagram stories, which were first shared by her friends online. In one of the videos, Alfia was seen tapping her legs on the song 'Humsafar' from the movie Badrinath Ki Dulhania sung by a live orchestra. Last month, Alfia had shared a picture from her bachelorette party and thanked her friends for making it a very special day for her.
Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty will next star in Chehre which is a mystery thriller by Rumi Jaffery starring Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Krystle D’Souza, Annu Kapoor, and Dhritiman Chatterjee in lead roles. The makers have decided to go ahead with a theatrical release after the pandemic ends as the trailer received a good response from the audiences.
