The fun-filled adventure comedy Murder Mystery (2019), starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, was released in 2019 and emerged as one of the most-watched films of all time on Netflix. The film achieved a lot of popularity thanks to its funny moments and the chemistry between the lead actors. Hence, the sequel, Murder Mystery 2, has been much awaited by audiences all over the world. The Indian audiences are particularly curious to see the wedding sequence. Its glimpse has been shown in the trailers and has heightened the excitement of the viewers in this country.

REVEALED: Murder Mystery 2 has a Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra connection

It has now come to light that Murder Mystery 2, which was released on March 31, has a connection with Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra and Elli AvrRam! This is because their popular songs could be heard in the background in the sangeet sequence.

The first song that is played is ‘Khadke Glassy’ from the Sidharth Malhotra-Parineeti Chopra starrer Jabariya Jodi (2019). This is followed by the much-loved ‘Ghungroo’ from War (2019), featuring Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor and Elli AvrRam’s item song ‘Chamma Chamma’ from Fraud Saiyaan (2019). Although not clearly heard as the aforementioned tracks, ‘Husnn Hai Suhaana’ from the Varun Dhawan-Sara Ali Khan starrer Coolie No 1 (2020) is played next. All these songs have got a due mention in the end credits.

During the sangeet dance performance scene, the original song ‘King Dee Wedding’ can be heard. It is composed by Avinash Chandrachud and Vishwajeet Joshi. Recently, they revealed that getting Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston to dance to their Punjabi dance number, sung by Farhad Bhiwandiwala, was an experience of a lifetime.

In a recent interaction with the media, Jennifer Aniston spoke about wearing a beautiful white lehenga for this said sequence. Designed by Manish Malhotra, she revealed that it took three months to create the attire. She added, “It was extremely heavy and I wasn't expecting that. So much respect for all the beautiful women of India who have to not only wear it but dance. We had a really good time.”

Murder Mystery 2 is the story of a detective couple who attend an Indian friend's wedding. But things go wrong when the groom gets kidnapped and the couple gets involved in the chaos and madness.
