Raveena Tandon recalls Rash Thadani labelling her Instagram aesthetics “cringe”; says, “I enjoy making these funny reels” : Bollywood News

Raveena Tandon, who carved her niche as a 90s Bollywood icon, continues to captivate audiences both on-screen and on social media. But it seems her playful Instagram antics don't always impress her daughter, Rasha Thadani.

In a recent interview with News18, Raveena candidly admitted, I’m such a dud when it comes to Instagram and I don’t know anything about it. I make these really serious and horrible mistakes. I post funny reels, but Rasha always tells me, 'Mumma, you cannot be making these reels, it's cringe!'"

She further added, “I love the way influencers actually create content. Unlike us, they have got a knack for it. So, sometimes, I bum reels from influencers and piggyback on them. But Rasha always tells me, ‘Mumma, you cannot be making these reels, it’s cringe!’ But I love it (laughs).”

Undeterred, Raveena defends her content creation, highlighting how she was among the first to jump on the viral "so beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow" trend. "Remember, I started it!" she says with a laugh.

The actress even experienced a moment of vindication when Deepika Padukone joined the trend. "After Deepika made a reel on it, I sent it to Rasha and said, 'See, everyone's making it? Just because Deepika made it, it’s a rage. And when I had made it, it was cringe?’ I keep fighting with Rasha on my social media aesthetics. '" Raveena recalls, playfully teasing her daughter.

While Rasha may not be a fan of all her mom's reels, Raveena remains unfazed. "I enjoy making these funny reels," she stated. "I do it only once in a while if I really like something. When I see something and fall off the floor laughing, I know that abb yeh toh banaana hi hai!"

Raveena's commitment extends beyond entertaining Instagram followers. She recently impressed audiences in the web series Karmma Calling and has exciting projects like Binoy Gandhi's Ghudchadi and the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle on the horizon.
