Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most popular stars to have started her journey from south Indian movies. She acquired fame in the Hindi belts too when the Hindi dubbed version of her Telugu blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 became a runaway hit. Now, the actress has further cemented her place among the Bollywood fans with the stupendous success of her latest movie Animal, which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role.

Rashmika has now expressed her happiness at the success of Animal. In a quote given to the news agency IANS, she said, “My loves!! The past couple days have been so overwhelming with the amount of love I have been receiving for Animal.. it’s inexplicable. Thankyou. Geetanjali (her character in Animal) is a character very dear to me as an actor. Her strength is her most admirable trait, and I just loved every bit of playing her character. I’m going to forever cherish the moments spent on the sets with the whole team of Animal.”

As far as the Indian box office is concerned, Animal has amassed a mammoth Rs. 314.50 crores in just six days. This is the second fastest record for a Bollywood film to hit a triple century. The fastest in the list is the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, which had reached the Rs. 300 crores mark in just five days earlier this year.

Produced by T-Series, Cine1 Studios and Bhadrakali Pictures, Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and it also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
