Ranveer Singh says ‘aag lag jayegi’ as Deepika Padukone shoots sizzling Pathaan song in Spain : Bollywood News

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are all set to reunite on-screen with Pathaan starring John Abraham as a villain. The actors are currently in Spain shooting major sequences and some of the hottest songs. Atleast, that's what Ranveer Singh is hinting at.

In an Instagram live stream on Wednesday, Ranveer Singh teased about the super-glamorous song that the cast of Pathaan is shooting is Spain, which is being choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant. “My wife is out of town. She is in Spain shooting for this big actioner for Yash Raj with ‘the king’ Shah Rukh Khan and ‘sexy sexy’ John Abraham,” shared Ranveer. He also mentioned how the couple has had a discussion about John’s ‘hot bod’, as he said, “She was telling me you need to look at John’s body. I was like, ‘Yeah baby, I know. He’s got one hot bod on him’.”

“I have heard the song, it’s amazing. It’s got that feel,” added Ranveer. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the song has been composed by Vishal–Shekhar.

Ranveer Singh recalled how he did his first song over a decade ago with Vaibhavi Merchant, which is 'Ainvayi Ainvayi' from Band Baaja Baaraat. “It’s exciting because I have the privilege of being her husband so she gives me a sneak peek of how she’s looking (rolls his eyes) my god. You guys will have to wait for it man. She’s just scorching it. superfit and super glamorous. Shaleena (Nathani) is styling her. I have seen a sneak peek and it looks like aag lag jayegi screen pe. So that’s the wifey update!” he added.

Earlier this month, Shah Rukh Khan made the much-awaited announcement. "I know it's late... But remember the date... Pathaan time starts now...See you in cinemas on 25th January, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you," he wrote on social media.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Zero in 2018 with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. He will next star in Rajkumar Hirani and Atlee's next.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will next star in Cirkus, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani among others.
