Oh Sea-young was high in praise for Ranveer’s physicality and commitment. He mentioned, “Ranveer is a beast, pure energy.” While many stars rely on doubles or quick rehearsals, Young revealed that Ranveer took a remarkably academic and obsessed approach to mastering his fight choreography. According to the stunt director, Ranveer was the first actor he had encountered who treated action sequences like a script to be studied. Young shared, “He is the first actor I know who takes notes on fights and choreography. He’d ask things like, ‘If I'm throwing a right hook, where is my left hand?’ He would write everything down.”
This level of detail-oriented preparation extended right up until the cameras rolled. Ranveer would reportedly ask for live demonstrations immediately before a take to ensure his movements remained sharp and authentic. Young admitted his surprise at Ranveer’s natural flair for the genre, especially given his career trajectory. He said, “I was shocked he hadn't done a pure action film before. Ranveer can master it in a short time through sheer obsession.”
