In the early hours of January 22, an array of Bollywood luminaries embarked on a journey to Ayodhya for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla. The private airport in Mumbai buzzed with the presence of stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt among several other celebrities. At the Ram Temple, Ranbir spoke to a news channel and said that he wished his daughter Raha was in attendance to watch the historic event.

Speaking to Times Now, Ranbir Kapoor said, “I feel extremely lucky and proud to be here. I wish I could have brought my daughter Raha to experience this historic moment. Jai Shree Ram.”

For the ceremony, Ranbir donned an ivory dhoti, kurta, and dupatta for Ram Lalla's consecration, adding a stylish touch with sunglasses. Meanwhile, Alia chose a graceful look in a blue saree featuring a rich border. Completing her ensemble with a shawl, the couple appeared elegant at the event.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is set to feature in the upcoming film Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala and co-produced by Eternal Sunshine Productions and Dharma Productions. The movie is slated for a September 2024 release. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor will take on the role of Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring alongside Sai Pallavi.
