Anil Kapoor, who has been gaining a lot of love for his performances whether it is his comic timing in Jugjugg Jeeyo or his ruthless gangster role in The Night Manager. Ending the year on a thunderous note is the actor with the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film Animal which has been doing record breaking business at the box office. In the movie, he was seen as the formidable 'Animal ka Baap,' Balbir Singh, of Ranbir Kapoor's ruthless and obsessed protagonist, Ranvijay Singh and the duo were thrilled to share screen space with each other. While Anil has expressed his fondness for Ranbir in the past, the latter too opened up about the kind of respect and admiration he has for the Lakhan actor.

Collaborating with Anil Kapoor on Animal proved to be a cinematic masterclass of sorts for Ranbir Kapoor and reflecting on the experience, the actor shared, “Working with Anil Kapoor was an absolute delight and a tremendous learning experience. His energy and enthusiasm on set are infectious. Anil Kapoor played my father role in the movie. He has a unique ability to effortlessly give different variations, switch between different emotions, and bring his characters to life with authenticity. Working with AK is an experience that I will never forget.”

Speaking of Animal, the film also starred Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, among others and it has been receiving a lot of love from audiences despite its ‘A’ rating. Meanwhile, speaking about his upcoming ventures, Anil Kapoor is all set to captivate audiences as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh in Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures' Fighter, which is scheduled for release on January 25, 2024. With Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as the lead couple, the film is an aerial action entertainer and also features an ensemble cast of Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, among others.
