Actor Ranbir Kapoor has finally addressed the criticism surrounding his latest film, Animal, at its recent success bash. Despite facing mixed reviews for its dark themes and violence, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film has emerged as a box-office behemoth. The actor attended the success bash with his wife and actress Alia Bhatt, mother Neetu Kapoor and father-in-law Mahesh Bhatt.

RK, while talking to the press, asserted, “I want to thank all of you for being here today to celebrate Animal. It is a film that a section of people had an issue with but I feel the kind of love, success and the numbers (it has received) proves that nothing goes beyond the love for a movie. Nothing goes beyond movies.”

At the same event, Sandeep Reddy Vanga also said, “Every character was very special and striking in the film and it happened because of everybody’s hard work. Thank you to the producer, lyricist, musicians, and thank you everyone.”

Speaking of the film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's much-anticipated project, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, roared onto screens in five languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada) on December 1, 2023. Backed by T-Series Films, Bhadrakali Pictures, and Cine1 Studios, the film quickly carved its path at the box office and collected over Rs 550 crores at the India box office.
