Presently, she's enjoying the wave of triumph following the release of her latest movie, titled Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. In an engaging clip produced for Vogue India, the actress showcased her lipstick application technique. While demonstrating the process, Alia mentioned that her spouse, Ranbir Kapoor, isn't particularly fond of her wearing lipstick.

In the video, Alia demonstrated an unconventional approach to applying lipstick. Rather than the typical method of smoothly applying the lipstick onto her lips, she revealed her preference for an unusual technique – moving her lips across the lipstick. She acknowledged the uniqueness of this approach but emphasized its effectiveness for her. Subsequently, she nearly removes the lipstick entirely from her lips, as she aims for a faded appearance, highlighting her personal style preference. After applying the lipstick, Alia Bhatt said in the video, “The reason I do this, I’ll tell you why is because a lot of time after eating I touch up my lipstick, I don’t know, I think something about moving the lipstick across my mouth is just way more tedious as opposed to moving my mouth across the lipstick… I thought, that was just something that I worked out for myself and then, I rub it off. Because one thing my husband [when he wasn’t my husband when he was my boyfriend as well] says when we used to go out at night, he used to say ‘Wipe that [lipstick] off. Wipe that off’. Because he loves the natural colour of my lip.”

On the work front, Alia Bhatt was recently seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film released in theatres on July 28, 2023, and received rave reviews from critics. In her pipeline, she also has director Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
