A few weeks back, Netflix dropped the Rana Naidu trailer, which was a high-octane, action-packed ride as two of India's superstars, Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati, come together on the screen. The trailer managed to impress the audience. As the release of Rana Naidu is around the corner, a promotional video has left fans puzzled as Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor meets with the "fixer of the stars" in the middle of a parking lot.

For the unversed, Rana Naidu is an official adaptation of the popular American series, Ray Donovan. In the upcoming series, Rana is playing the titular character of a strong-headed man, who is involved in every big scandal in Bollywood. In the latest release promo, Janhvi and Rana seem to be “up to no good,” as they are seen shoving an unconscious man into a car's trunk. In the caption, Netflix wrote, “We spy some shady business Ms. Kapoor.”

While a section of fans is excited, a few of them are speculating if Janhvi is going to make a cameo in the Netflix series. Speaking of the cast, besides Daggubati uncle-nephew duo, the show also stars Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Gaurav Chopra, Priya Banerjee and Ashish Vidyarthi, among others. During the trailer launch of Rana Naidu, Rana Daggubati had said, “Playing the role of Rana Naidu was exceptionally challenging. He's a complex character with a deep emotional connection to his family, but also struggles with his relationship with his father. And, amidst all this drama is Rana’s professional journey and what it requires of him. I can't wait for everyone to experience the world of Rana, Naga and everything in between!”

The crime-thriller web show will start streaming on the OTT platform from March 10 onwards.
