On Saturday, Rakul took to her Instagram and shared a picture from her recent visit to the temple. Sharing the string of photos, she captioned, “Time to thank the almighty for his blessings. In the social comedy Chhatriwali, directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, Rakul Preet Singh alongside Sumeet Vyas, Satish Kaushik, Dolly Ahluwalia, and Rajesh Tailang all play significant roles. In the movie, Rakul plays a character of an unemployed chemistry prodigy who later begins working for a condom manufacturer. When her in-laws learn the truth, they start to resist her.

Rakul had spoken about why she chooses this topic during the trailer launch of the film. She said, “I think for me it's not about the subject being bold, I think the entire conversation is that it's not bold it is as normal as it can be and I am a believer that if we talk about key health, mental health, emotional health then why not about sexual health. You know 'It's not an option it is compulsory’. I truly believe this is the only thing we don't have an option in life so why education related to it should be an option? I think it's very important and it's a need of the hour."

On the work front, Rakul Preet Singh was recently seen in Chhatriwali directed by Tejas Deoskar. In her pipeline, she has Meri Patni Ka Remake in Hindi, Ayalaan, 31 October Ladies Night is bilingual in Tamil and Telugu.
